Hello, I have a 1990 Honda Accord, and when I put the key into the III position where it is supposed to have power, nothing happens. But once I turn it a little bit more to start the car, that when the power kicks in, if I keep on turning the key the car will start, but once I let go of the key the car turns off. I checked the fuses and they all work. The battery is good too. Has anyone had any problems like? The car is auto i looked at the ecu and at control unit and when the key is not on i have a red light on the ecu ant at ecu

 

This sounds like an ignition switch problem, you can drop off the steering column shroud and look at the solder joints on the back of the electrical part of the switch.
