Default Is this Ground Control sleeve load bearing?

The edge looks kind of thin and rounded. I have a circlip adapter ring on my shock that has a flat surface for this to rest on. Will this be ok?

That doesn't look like a Koni specific Ground Control sleeve. Mine have a small black lip on them just inside the sleeve and that part rests on the Koni's height adjustable circlip.

i hope that "adapter ring" has a proper design to enclose and capture the koni snap ring. or you will have disastrous results.

and yes, the sleeve is load bearing but works fine when used properly with a stock shock.

yeah buddy, I had a bad "sleeve" sent from Koni once....It did not have the little lip machined into the bottom end of it and the conical shape that was there instead actually pushed the circlip down and out of the groove during a race.....It was the worst handling car I ever had....Talledega clockwise at Buttonwillow with NO front right spring was crazy crazy bouncy, a REAL handful.....
