Strange Issue, Charging and Battery Drain Issue.
Ok so I am going to try and explain this as best as I can. Car is a 1999 Integra GS, Just got finished rebuilding the engine. Parts that are new and replaced during rebuild (that relate to the question): Distributor cap and rotor, Plugs, wires and Battery.
Right after rebuild was finished I started it up and it ran great. Battery was disconnected during the entire time. Now I took it for a nice long test drive, about 20 miles. It did really good, everything worked. Did not test head lights or A/C. So I get it home and while it is sitting in the garage I decide to test out the A/C. it goes on and I am feeling for the cool air and it seems ok, but then the car dies. I try to start with no success, the battery is drained. So I go to replace it. It starts up and I do not do the A/C again. I take it to go pick up a friend and it gets dark so I turn on the headlights, about 10 minutes later I notice the headlights dimming and the dashlights dimming then the car dies at an intersection. Will not start. WTF... right? Well, I jump start and it starts but bogs like no other. The it dies and will not start with no help around. I then proceed to push start it. Get it going with out the lights but it is dark so I have to turn em on but there are so dim people are flashing their lights at me. The the car dies on the road. I did not have the jumper cables from before, so this lady puts her bumper on mine and pushes me to about 30 mph and it will not push start.. it just bogs to a death. dash lights are on but damn near dead. So I cannot figure the damn thing out. Car is parked at my friends. I am going over tomorrow but want to know exactly what I can do to it and test it. I am going to test the battery voltage and then I am going to test the alternator about 13.5v, right. I am going to check the Alternator SP fuse. I got to check it all. because it will not be at my house.
Also, another problem I encountered or was already there is that my transmission is making a rattling noise while the engine is running. When I hold the clutch in, the noise stops. At idle and in neutral, when I rev the engine, the noise doesn't get any louder or quieter but when in gear and I let the clutch go (normal driving) the noise gets louder. I'm suspecting a worn or loose pressure plate. Any advice? Your reply is greatly appreciated. It does have a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing.

So I went ahead and replaced the alternator and it is still draining the battery once the lights and A/C and radio are on. ANYONE?
