137.1 on 195/55/15
138.9 on 205/50/15
138.9 on 205/50/15
But yeah it's right around 140 (ask me how I know, and no I won't ever do it again

my bad I used
http://www.autocrossing.com/cgi-bin/gearcalc.cgi
and didn't correct for the 195/55 diameter being 23.4. It defaults to 22.8 which is even smaller than the 205/50 = 23.1
it is 140.7 on 195/55 and 138.9 on 205/50

damn i cant believe I went as fast as I did... I'm runing 195-60s ... so I was going over 140. It took about 10 seconds to go from 80-140... the fact I kept up with a vettes aerodynamics at those speeds is insane... I had the sunroof open and the windows down and we were neck and neck the whole way.

How high does the speedo go? Was is pretty acurate to what everyone has told you? Just curious cause i got my hatchy up to 7.5K just the other day with a GSR trany It said it was past 145MPH but maybe it's off.
I just installed a GSR cluster in my 93 Cx (hatch) that has a 98 GSR
I am interested to know if my RPM's are accurate.
In 5th gear here's what I noticed and hoping someone can clarify:
60 mph -- 3,100 RPM
40 mph -- 2,000 RPM
30 mph -- 1,500 RPM
I'll get some more #'s today when I get on the freeway to work.
Can someone post the mph I should be reaching in each gear if taking it to 8k at each shift
Thanks!
PS <> I'm pretty sure the speedometer is off since the Cx wheel diameter is smaller than the GSR's. I am just hoping the RPM's are accurate

I think that it would be safe to say on a general purpose basis that if 70mph is 3500rpm and 80mph is 4000rpm, then 7000rpm would be 140mph. Althougth the speedo is probablly slightly off.

Just wondering...but, were you guys on a straightaway ? I ran with a Vette once to...but it was on a more twistie road, and after 120 the Vette coldn't keep the *** end on the ground. Certainly not a car made for road racing. The rear suspension in those things just isn't all that. Anyways...cool either way though!
I'm another one of the idiot's that pushed my car to 143. Kinda scary on a normal road!
