what rpm am i at in 4th gear??
i have a b16 tranny with 205/50/15 tires. and im at 5000rpms@60mph in 4th gear.
is there a site that will tell me what rpms i would be at with 235/60/15?
autocrossing.com will tell me what speed i will be at redline for every gear, but i need to know what rpm i will be at, at 70mph with 235/60/15

Re: what rpm am i at in 4th gear?? (mrchaos)
MPH = (RPM)(TIRE DIAMETER in inches) / (GEAR RATIO)(FINAL DRIVE) (336)
60={(rpm)(26.1)}/{(1.107)(4.40)(336)}
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html <--- tire size calculator
not bringing up the fact that depending on what car you have, that tire size is more than 11% too big, which will be killing your acceleration and throwing off your speedo and odometer by the said amount

Only 9"?!?! That's HUGE.
What car did you see at the track with those tires? Was it a Civic? Was it a drag only car and not a street driven car?
205 - 215 is about the limit for a street driven Civic.
