Default The best bolt ons??

What kind of bolt on modifications or combination would give me the most bang for my buck on my type of engine?

knowing that you have a LX model, from my personal experience and preference, i think an intake (short ram should do it) and a 4-2-1 header will make you feel very happy about your car's performance.... even you keep your stock muffler in place.
Not only this is somewhat "cheap", it's easy to be installed as well.

flywheels has the biggest effect at higher speeds with acceleration but it has its negatives.
CAI, header, and cat-back will help with the throttle respones

turbos bolt on... lol

unless you plan on building up the motor bolt on's arent going to give you a whole lot of hps... they help out when you've built up your motor... but you're not gonna be runnin 14s with jus bolt ons.. I'd say build up you're motor for turbo or get an h22

or like muffin said... do suspension... that helps more than you would think.

I agree. Bolt-ons give your ego a bigger boost than your car. They're nice initially and sound awesome but the real HP gains come from more serious mods like turbos, super charger's, or an engine swap.

P.S. bolt-ons also make your hard-on's harder. I think it correlates with the whole ego thing

Really depends on how much money you have to spend also... But first things I would purchase for performance and best bang for our buck would be

Headers/ Possibly full exhaust without tip
Cold Air Intake
Lightened Pulleys
Cams
Fuel Injectors

But if you have a few bucks to spend then a turbo and boost controller would be the best!! With some upgrades on your engine so it doesn't blow.

a general rule of thumb is speed doesn't come cheap... just a thought! i am kind of wondering if it's even worth putting money into my stock motor. i think it would be smarter to take the money that i would spend on bolt on mods and put it towards a swap or whatever.

yeah ive been thinking that too... but in my opinion i think it would be cooler to see a built f22 then some h22 or something that EVERYONE always swaps for

Suspension and Wheels/Tires make a huge improvement over the stock slushbox. Invest in that first and then you can start doing other stuff.

Lighter wheels and better gripping tires coupled with some stiffer suspension components =

Default bolt ons!

don't forget with your standard bolt ons to get a proper tune!
Tune is everything!

as far as boost, if this is your DD do not boost it!
even at 10 psi your gunna wanna bump it up, damagaing some components.
Why, well just because you can and thrive for more power.

I safely boosted my 320,000 mile stock F22(non V-TEC) with 9 lbs and it ran kick ****.
But again it is all in the tune, and running proper components.
I also have 3 cars and a truck so am available to break them if need be.

Cheap parts = more worries!
