Default Horsepower on a 95 accord ex vtec?

I have a 95' honda accord ex w/ vtec and i was wondering if there is a way to tell how much horsepower it has.

Also, my brother has a 97' honda accord ex but with no vtec. He thinks he can beat me in a race. Is there a way to compare the power of both cars when i can't really race him anywhere near where i live?

dyno your cars.... or just google the engines and find how much hp/torque each car/engine has. You can even find the 1/4 mile for your car on the web. just search man

VTEC:

Non-VTEC:

As a side note, if you have an EX you should have VTEC, unless the motor has been swapped. If you have a special edition however, you will have the amenities of an EX but the B2 engine.

yeah, i did some searching.

Mine (95 accord ex w/vtec auto) has about 145 hp

His (97 accord ex no vtec auto) has about 130

I guess as close as they are it would just come down to who's the better driver. I know for sure it's me though lol. So i guess i would win.

EX = 145 in stock trim (on a good day)
DX, LX and SE = 130 in stock trim (Downhill)

bahahaha. and considering it is 2010, there will be a good amount of wear and tear on them, so back in 95 and 97 they may have put that to the flywheel, but no way in that happening now.

good laugh though P.
