I'm installing a trunk light in my 93 dx sedan.As far as I know I run the green wire to the trunk trigger wire(negative trigger) and then run the white/red wire to a constant power source right?So my question is what is the nearest constant power source to the trunk?

 

fuel pump?? the brake lights also are always able to light up even when the car is off so maybe that would be even better

 

I tested the rear lights with a lest light and apparently all the rear lights are positive triggered so they don't have constant power .Any idea where the trunk lights on other models get their power from?

 

Its ok I figured it out.I just ran a wire across the ceiling to the interior light wire and ran a wire to the trunk trigger wire.
