Hey people!...Well my car just got smashed up while parked..i have a dohc ZC engine in it...... I'm using a 93 civic single head cam tranny on it works OK i guess... But when i put a stage 3 clutch on it [freak]er didn't work..It stood activated.....so they totalled this car yesterday...Now i wanna pu it in2 my other hatch a 1994 civic si...but i wanna know whats the best Tranny to use....Can someone please help me?.........Thanks

Use the Si Tranny.

 

id assume using the 92-95 ex/si tranny would be best.

 

What year would i use tho?........People tell me to use the si but i wanna make sure everything works!......Do i have to change the ax's cause im useing 92-95 civic dx axles......And what clutch would i use?....Thanx 4 all ur help

 

everything you just mentioned is interchangeable. if you are really worried, get parts for the d16z6. the year doesn't matter--the si tranny is just the best choice.

All '92 - '00 D-series manual trannys are interchangeable, they all use the same clutch and the axles are interchangeable.
