Default Q: will a B20 (CRV) head work on a LS block work? :searched:

i have been looking through honda tech for a definitive answer with no luck.

Rundown:
i have a 95 LS and it has a b20 engine in it currently. the bottom end of the engine is toast due to the previous owner's neglect. i managed to get a hold of a running LS block for cheap.
i was wondering if i could still use the B20 head? or would i have to source out a LS head to get the car running again? any help is appreciated. thanks again

as long as its not a jdm b20(pr8) head it will work

all usdm ls and b20 heads will have pr4 on it on the exh side of the head

nice what head gasket would you recommend i use the LS one or the CRV one? and is there any reason why it would not hold up for boost?

YES IT WILL. I have a 94 LS Integra, B18b1 bottom with a jdm B20 PR8 head. It bolts right up. This B20 head has a bigger cam lobe,(ONLY ON THE PR8 HEAD) that's it. All other head components are the same as the LS head, it's still a P75 casting. It will give you more low-end torque along with good response. :-)
