Default Leather OEM style 98 Civic EX "Seat Covers"

Does anyone have any experience with these - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ebay
-seat covers? They look pretty good to me and will cut down on the hassle of me having to find nicer seats and messing with them to fit in my car. I don't know if this counts as an ebay posting, I hope it does not. I'm not trying to get banned or anything . I don't work for this guy or will get anything from people looking at his listing. I just don't want to drop 600 bucks for something thats not going to fit or look good or is made out of crappy materials.... Any info or pics would be appreciated. Thanks!

They dont look too bad, but honestly i'd just try to find a set of GSR leathers and put them in your Civic...Way more comfortable and you can get them for less than that.

yeah, the fronts would look good but the backs wont fit correctly. I know how I am, the gaps on the side will bother me. Plus this is all new stuff, I dont need to worry about rips or tears and I dont need to think about what people have done in those seats.... As for comfort..... I broke my back a few years ago, nothing really feels too comfortable to me.

It looks like the real deal to me. They even will throw in heaters for the front seats for $99 more.

Yeah, they look good... But how do they fit? Anyone? Plus, if you look closely at the pics you can see that the head rest leathers have cut outs, GSR style... I emailed the guy to see whats up with that. Might be a deal breaker. I dont really care about the seat heaters though. You dont really need them in So Cal.

So you're the first owner of your car then?

There are no '96-'00 Civics that came with OEM leather interiors. It was a dealer option and was out sourced to other businesses to reupholster the seats, so it could vary greatly from business to business.

No, I wish I were the first owner. I know the first owner though, my friends older sis. Im not saying that nothing might have happened there but jeez.... if something did..... I kinda feel bad for the guy. Plus she is pretty big and the front seats barely hold her so im sure nothing went on in the back. So they are pretty safe in my book, plus I tore the car apart and cleaned them up with a Rug Doctor when I got it, got 10+ years of dirt out of them.

So yeah, I know they are not OEM but they are made in the style of, so they "should" just slip over the old seats, once the cloth has been taken out. Just trying to see what the quality is like....

That's not what I meant, what I meant was real quality leather and retrofit that looks OEM. I'm sorry maybe I should've just said that instead.
