Default Clutch Job - Spindle Nut Question

Does the driver side spindle nut (axle nut) need to be removed to do a clutch job?
Or just the passenger side?

Lol was about to say yes but relised your guys cars arnt RHD. Taking it off tho makes it easier to stick the gearbox back on. I always pull both axels right off just for the ease of it. Also make inspecting CVs alot easier.

Taking out the driver side and intermediate shaft make the install of the tranny a whole lot easier.
