Also, if your car is a manual then you gonna have to drill out holes/tap for the iacv on the back of the intake manifold and change out the throttle body for an manual one.

I have a Y8 mani in my garage that I'm planning to use; I didn't know to ask if it was an auto or manual until after I purchased it. Can someone please post pictures of the difference?

there no way if the manifold came out of the automatic car, unless some previous owner swapped it out before you got the car.

lol duly noted.

The only thing i can see being the case is (if those holes are factory) that is was an obd2 (jdm) d15b intake manifold.

in the sense that it was unbolted from a d16y8, no it isn't a y8 manifold.

but.

in the sense that it is the same casting (plenum/runners) then yes, it is.

They didn't add a number after the engine casting in the asian market.

understandable. being that we live in the usdm the 7 likely just comes out as part of the code.

there are alot of differences tho. the jdm 1.5L blocks are nothing like the 1.5L blocks we get in the b2 and b7.

Edit: It's nice that you took the time to cross-reference that for us tho. I had already replied that it *might* be a jdm d15b manifold and now you've basically comfirmed that.
