manual/auto y8 intake mani difference?
is there a difference in the manual and auto d16y8 intake manifolds? if there is, can a manual mani be used on an auto? i remember reading something about this a while back, but i cant seem to find info on it now...thanks in advance.

Auto uses a 3-wire iacv under the throttle body. Manual uses a 2-wire iacv at the back of the manifold. Yes you can use the manual manifold as an auto manifold. All you need to do is leave the 2-wire iacv at the back of the manifold unplugged of it's coolant hoses and electrical plug, but still bolted on. Then you need to run a throttle body with a 3-wire iacv.
