Default Stalls when accelerator is depressed

I have a 1997 Honda Accord V6 with 165,000 miles. I got into a front end collision and smashed the radiator and crumpled the hood pretty good. I have fixed all that enough to be driveable. The car sat for about two months without being started. When the car was sitting the sides of the hood were not flush with the body and I think the inside of the engine bay got a little wet. Ok so after I pulled the radiator support out and replaced the radiator and radiator fan, I tried to start the car and no go the engine would turn over but wouldn''t start. I replaced the distributor cap and the car started but idled like crap. I had someone come look at the car and he thought it was the crankshaft position sensor because as soon as the accelerator was depressed the car started to stall and the injectors were turning off (he checked them with a injector tester). I had another guy look at it and he said that most likely it was the distributor becuase crankshaft position sensors rarely go bad and that wouldn''t turn off the injectors. So I replaced the distributor and I still have the same problems. Can anyone give me some insight on what might be wrong. I haven''t had the fuel pump checked but with a pressure gage but i took the fuel line off and wasn''t able to hold the gas in so it seems it has enough pressure. I am really stumped here and any help would be appreciated.

yes the check engine light is on. It had some codes but I don't remember what they were. Is there a code for the Crankshaft Position Sensor?

you could also jump the service check connector and count the flashes.

If my problem was the distributor and I haven't cleared the code can it still cause problems?

if reading the codes is to hard then you should tow the car to a shop and let them fix it for you.

Got the codes pulled and it is throwing the crankshaft position sensor. I have it at a mechanic now to get this job done.
