Default Apexi solenoid. normally open or closed?

Just wondering if this valve that comes with the AVCR is normally open or closed, I am using it with my hondata boost control and had no luck.

didnt have time to even switch the options and make any more pulls but i figured i would ask on here as well

It's a normally closed solenoid. Just like the Hondata or AEM solenoid. It works off the same frequency(31 Hz). They are all pretty much the same MAC solenoid.

what problems are you having with it exactly? Are you sure the ecu is pulsing it properly? Maybe try setting it to a set duty cycle and listen to make sure its pulsing.

really i didnt even have tim eto troubleshoot it yet. i know my lines for the vacuum and pressure are right. but i was short on time and didnt have a chance yet to mess with it.

setup is a 372R/benson gsr race motor/fullrace twinscroll/etc

i just left it strapped to our dyno and will have more time tomorrow to mess with it

I want to go back and check my switched hot for the power, then also monitor the duty cycle on the s300 and see if its sending anything to the signal, also i need to just manual test the solenoid to make sure it even works haha, just for piece of mind

Mike, if the solenoid is dead, let me know. I have plenty in stock
