You can swap the speedometer head, but it will look retarded. Just figure out the conversions for the major speed limits.

So there is no way to keep the SiR look with MPH?

its rare but some CDM versions had kph on the large side and mph small. otherwise, get a sticker with easy conversions on it and put that close so you can read it. or memorize it all...

Just learn how to guage speed in Km. Its not really that hard. For every 1km, youre going .61mph; therefore, 40km = 25mph, 50 = 30, 60 = 36 and so forth

I bet with this crowd (and some others) little static clings that show kilometers or miles would be popular.

just write the conversions of the major limits on a sticky note and leave it on your dash (when you want) until you have it memorized.

All of the CDM clusters are like this, its not limited to honda's either, all canadain vehicles are set up like that. However we only ever got the same clusters as the US, except KM/H on the outside instead of MPH. None of our clusters were white faced.

Speedo Healer! you can convert your speedo from mph to kph and back. even calibrate for different wheel and tire sizes. Get one and your SIR cluster will effectivley be a 180 mph speedo.

Isn't the SpeedoHealer for motorcycles only? Says they're plug and play for most motorcycles. I'm not sure how it might (if it can) work for Civics.

I am used to the metric on my EK9 cluster. You get a feel for it and if you do the math trick you learn that 120 is in the 70s, 140 is in the 80s, 150 is in the 90s, 160 is 100, 180 is in the 110s. Close enough that you can eyeball it. And go with the flow.
