i believe there is miles written in smaller size under the km. so you shouldn't worry about how fast you are going. But for mileage, you have to do math.
(x km)(0.621371192237miles/km)
plug number on x
(x km)(0.621371192237miles/km)
plug number on x

like i said, put a number on x on following formula
(x km)(0.621371192237miles/km)
for example, if your sir cluster is having 100000km, then you have 62137miles
oh and i didn't know sir's have no miles on there. hmmmm 60mph is about 100km.. so i thikn it is all up to your senses man.. lol

how about the differences between the 5th gen civic sir's since OP is talking about one going into his 5th gen(95 civic dx).
to op: use this website... quick google search and it poped up.

just put in your around town cruising speeds and freeway speed then memorize those key speeds.

Re: (NOFX)
Put a sticky note next to your cluster with KM -> MPH for every 5 MPH (20kmh = 10mph, or whatever it actually is) all the way up until like 40mph or so.

im running a jdm cluster in my car.. and i just do the calculations in my head...
its a multiple of 6.. for 2 digit numbers (i.e 10kmh) you take the 1st number which is *1*.. and multiply it by 6.. so (10kmh = 6mph)
once u get to triple digits (i.e 100mph+) you take the first 2 number which is *10* ... multiply it by 6 so (100kmh = 60mph)
20kmh = 12mph
40kmh = 24mph
60kmh = 36mph
80kmh = 48mph and so on...
pretty simple...
as for the odo/ trip... i use my trip meter to make sure of my gas tank... i usually get around 250 mile to the tank in my civic... so on the kmh trip meter... i start to look for a gas station after it hit 400 km..
