From: Stuck in traffic on the capital beltway.

"Bad" gas mileage on 08 Accord.

I have an '08 Accord EX-L V6 4-door. I can't seem to get above 20 MPG. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there anything I should check? I drive about 50/50 highway and city.

20mpg for the V6 in 50/50 combination driving around VA/MD/DC sounds about right. That is what my mom's 7th gen V6 EX-L gets. My 7th gen EX (4cyl) averages 25mpg 50/50 highway & city.

It also depends ALOT on your driving style, and the route that you travel. Our roads around here can be flat, or hilly. Some routes are worse that others, so that will play a big role also.
