Default help please

Hey everyone i was driving home getting off the freeway when all of a sudden my car starts to smell like rotten eggs. I know its the cat that was going bad but then my check engine light started flashing and my car ran like crap. I made it home and shut off the car right away. I turned the ignition like if i was going to start the car and i had no cel. The car is a 2000 honda civic ex its all stock besides dc headers its my daily driver so it has about 150xxx. Could it be just the cat or is it something worse please help

flashing cel= missfire, the rotten egg smell is raw fuel burning in the cat. need to find why it is misfiring.
