Installation of fuel tank fittings...
Finally i got all my fittings in for my fuel set up (yes i know its dirty, i ran out of simple green). I have a question though about the fuel lid return line though. First off, im going to rethread the 12mmx1.25 feed hole to a pitch of 12mmx1.5 so i can run a 8an feed line. Underneath the lid there is a copper tube i believe, did you guys just cut this off with a dremel?
Now for the return line im a little confused.
I assume you cut the stock tube (above and beneath the lid) using a dremel and drill a hole in the plate to one large enough to install the earls 90deg swivel fitting and stratoseal grommet, correct?
Below is a picture of Farnsrocket's Fuel pump return to give you guys an idea.
For the return fitting, do you run a hose like the stock one or do you guys just let it drain from the bottom of the earls fitting? All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Yep, cut off with a dremel as well as you can....it's tight in there, then drill it out big enough for the fitting. I am just letting mine drain from there. I wasn't worried about running another tube like the stock setup. Have fun.
