obd2 b18 into obd2 civic harness question
did a quick search and couldnt come up with the info. Bare with me as ive been out of the car game for a while, and have never messed with many obd2 cars,
Car is a 97 ex coupe. Motor is an obd2 b18b1.
The wiring harness in the car runs straight from the ecu to the motor (doesnt have the 2 part harness like obd1 cars). The wiring harness from the motor is set up for the two part harness where it runs from the motor to the right side firewall, then connects to a second harness to run inside the cabin to the ecu.
I tried to match the harness from the car to the motor, and right off thebat i saw it had a different cylinder positioning sensor connector, so i fgure swapping that over wont work.
What do i have to do to get the wiring straight on this thing???
TIA for any help

you have to use the civic harness, no other harness works, you will need to color match the CFK wires, everything else will be plug and play with the exception of having to lengthen wires to reach certain sensors.
CFK wires??
The civic harness is also off an automatic, so Im assuming it is the same with the exception of a few extra wires

Theres some extra wiring, and you'll have move some wires around for the backup lights I belive, you will also need to preform the IACV fix

get rid of the Integra harness, like he said. You will need to perform the IACV fix as he showed you, and lengthen a few wires. Thats all, its rather simple. I just did it last week.
Forgot to mention, if you have the complete OBD2 integra harness and its out of a USDM integra they can be very handy for dropping an OBD2 B-series engine in an OBD1 civic or integra, you might be able to get some money out of it.
Thanks for the info guys.
I think I have the harness all figured out, except for the CFK. The one on LS has two wires, the one on the civic has three, and i dont belive any of the color match up..?

Here ya go buddy...its easy, just did it to mine. It tricks the ECU into thinking the CFK sensor is plugged in.
