so, i got this 90 crx dx last night, and i figured id go ahead and start a build thread on it now, as i have a lot to do. ill post pics as i go along, but it may be slow as it is my daily driver.

the car has a k20a2 from an rsx-s(47k), ep3 5 speed tranny, clutchmasters stg 2 clutch, 8lb flywheel, hasport billet mounts, hand polished RBC intake manifold, acura RDX turbo injectors, hondata gasket, DCsports header, skunk2 megapower full header exhaust, throttle body adapter, K-PRO ecu, aeromotive fpr, walbro 255 pump, hasport axles, 6-sp type-r **** on rsx shifter box, rsx-s cluster, gsr rear disc conversion, civic ex front knuckles and discs, type-r brake booster and 1" master cylinder, pusher slim fan, solid shifter bushings, and short shift kit, kyb struts and neuspeed drag springs, white 16" regas , and im sure im forgetting something.

the body is a little rough. it needs a driver door moulding, and the door trims on both sides. and i have to replace the hood, i hate it! the car is primed flat black and has a few dings here and there, but it has a few good points. all the door jambs are trimmed in as well as the hatch jambs with oem R72P(red torino pearl), and the best part: the bay is painted too and is totally shaved and tucked! looks great. it also has the cr-x vtec center tail garnish.

the only interior in the car is the headliner, dash, and two front seats. i plan on getting black to go back in it if i can source it.

well the engine bay looks amazing but u def need a drop bad great great platform how much u pick it up for?

yeah it sucks that there are people out there like that . jealousy is a motherfukker . hes prob got a real set that he paid 2000 for or something outrageous like that for....id rather spend it on the engine or paint or something.....and no one would ever know the diff if i hadnt said....lol....its just a fukken set of stickers anyway GET OVER IT!

actually anyone that knows anything about evo regas would have been able to pick your fakes out, but a Torino Red KREX is going to be bad ***. can't wait to see the results.

just said that most owners of the reals can pick out the fakes.
you do what you want with your dollar.
good luck onthe build...i really do love Torino red i would like to see more cars in that color

oh its cool, i was just kiddin' ......you are right though cause i can pick em out in a heartbeat......i just couldnt afford them right now....if i could afford them, id just go buy me a set of RC Starks and roll

and i love the torino red.....and you hardly ever see it anymore

 

Faking the funk with the wheels is not so cool........

I was definitely surprised how nice the engine bay looked from how the outside looks. I bet this thing hauls ***** though. No hatred from me, because I would kill for a K-Swapped CRX regardless of what the outside looked like.
