Hey all K-Pro users, I want to get K-Pro here in the near future and wasnt sure if what process i am suppose to go to to get it. On the hondata site it said the price to send it in would be $995 but i hac to do it through a licence hondata dealer. Please shed some light and let me know what route you guys took to get it. thnx.

 

what year is your RSX?? if it's an 05-06 its gonna be a little more
and if your confused you can buy it and ship it through the clubrsx.com they have their own store and are an official hondata dealer

FYI i talked to Hondata Today and they said that they can only K-Pro a PCB computer not the JDM Type R PRC one so be careful on what computer you send them....but swaps are different from what i understand.......

Wow really? Then what are all the people doing who have K20A swaps? Buying a PCB???

The SWAP PRC comps are ok just not in the 05-06 RSX so if you swap a type r motor into an RSX it wont work.....K20a into a eg or whatever is fine.....just not into a RSX.....weird i know but thats what Hondata is telling meeee

Is that for a ecu or do I gotta send mine in and does the immoblizer go to? Just curious has anyone had a dyno chart or kno a range of wut I will possibly be pushin?

 

i dont know about what numbers you will be putting down but all you need to send is the Computer to Hondata and please make sure you go through a reputable dealer cause my friend sent his comp to an ebayer and never got returned and it was no cheap comp.......so PLEASE BE CAREFUL PEOPLE!!!!! lets not be stupid do your research!!!!!!!

 

Thanx for looking out, but yeah im actually going thru clubrsx. When i get the ecu back is it going to be pre-tuned to drivr or wuddup with that?
