Hey jus wondering what lil things I can or should do to gain power but this is my only car so i'll need to be able to put it back together in time for work lmao! I want to get cams but is it worth doing now if I want to turbo it with summer? Im on a tight budget being that I really want this car turbo'd in time for summer but im bored and want more power.

 

What does it have on it right now? I/H/E would be a start...

 

Its the b18a1 with 185,xxx miles with 4-2-1 header, downpipe, high flow cat, jdm style exhaust, and cold air intake.

 

upgrade for turbo parts.

 

But if I do that shouldn't it be done all at once becuz I wouuld have turbo parts and no turbo till summer came around

 

your on a tight budget but want to be turbo by summer???? then dont do a thing to the car till your ready to boost. why buy and aftermarket intake and header when your just going to remove them?

 

I actually bought the car wth everything besides the header downpipe and high flow cat and I bought those before I wanted to go turbo.. and the only other thing i'll be buying is a short ram intake since winter is coming.. what's the average cost of a basic turbo build? im looking to push at least 250 but 300 would be better plus its my daily so it would have to be reliable

 

Just take your time and don't rush a build. When you rush you miss little important things that you need and bam... your car is blown up. Get everything before you turbo. You can go ahead and do the cam gears. I doubt it'll make a noticeable difference though until the turbo build.

and as for cams, what cams are you talking about? crower? those are mainly for adding after you have boosted or are building a serious NA build.
but you can throw in a set of b18b cams froma newer LS. i think there good for another 10hp or so(correct me if im wrong on that one)
