Default Anyone running Stance GR+ coilovers?

Looking to find some info as im looking to purchase a set. Ive got an em2 and i know that the dc5/ep coilovers fit on my car. From what i gather so far is that they are american made, beefy, and 15 way dampening adjustable and come with the upper pillow ball mounts. Same price as buddy club n+, but seems that the quality might be a bit better. 10k/11k spring rates i beleive. Just wanted to know if anyone has experience with them?

edit/ spring rates were wrong, now changed to correct ones directly from their site.

12K front springs? That's a bit much for a street car.

Why not look into a tried and true RSX/EP3/EM2 coilover setup like Progress.

Agreed I would look into something more like Progress.... but the Buddy Club N+ is a very good suspension for the EP3...

How so? Amazingly bad? amazingly good? What are you comparing to?

Seems to me the 12kg/15kg springrates are kinda screwey for the chassis they were designed for.

I just checked their website, so its my bad, its 10K and 11k springs rates. I was reading a post on a different forum where the member i guess had custom spring rates or whatnot. Looks like ill be saving up for some.

10k/11k is just as bad.

Better make sure this suspension isn't an afterthought for this chassis, like many of them are.

Honestly, why do people buy suspension based on what a bunch of people on the net say that really have no clue what they are talking about?

With that said, I have not personally experienced this specific suspension, but I know enough by looking at the springrates that you're probably going to get a harsh ride that will most certainly lend itself to understeer.

If you just want to lower your, there are cheaper and better ways to do so. If you want a quality suspension that'll make your car handle better, I would do some research before I jumped on these. Even better, call them up and see if they know what they are talking about. And I'd certainly ask for rates that suited the chassis better.

Thats a good suggestion and I agree with you, but i'm all about trying new things. Lots of people have the koni/GC..but my car will be mostly on the track and partly on the road. I'll definatley contact them before I purchase.

Koni/GC works ok on this chassis, but you'd better know how to set them up and assemble them properly or you're going to get suspension noise.

What are you going to be doing with the car? Daily, autox, track events?
