Mini me swap Oil pump question
I heard when converting a d16a6 with a z6 head that you need the z6 oil pump otherwise your engine could blow. Only reason I can think of is that the z6 may flow more? any help on this subject would be appreciated.. thanks!

I ran a y8 head on a D15B2 with no problem. on that motor I read to take out the little oil pressure valve thing on the top of the block in the center before you put the head on otherwise the VTEC won't kick on so if the D16A6 has that too, you might want to take that out.
