Default AVS ES100 pics (dial up go away)

I had a few people ask me about the new tires I reciently got...

I have not mounted them yet... (will do it Wed night)... but here are some pics.

I have had them for about 2 weeks or so... they look nice... I just hope they live up to the AVS naming.

A report to follow after this weeken at CMP for a 3 day driving event.

Willis

Wow. 280 treadwear?! (Had to look up tirerack.com)

I'm actually quite curious on how you rate these. At $71 bucks a pop ... these might make great street tires if they're grippy.

Note - I know you can't compare treadwear ratings from manufacturer to manufacturer but that seems like an obscenely high number.

Meaning the S03s grip/performance is superior or vice versa?

I thin the S03's are a lot better all around... I have not driven either.. but would suspect the price will reflect the difference.

I am really interested in hearing some opinions on those tires.

My last two sets were AVSi's, and I loved them.

But I have S-03s now and I must say that these new Yokohamas need to be better by an order of magnitude to be as good as the Potenza. The S-03 is simply unbelievable in the rain.

Let us know as soon as you get back from the 3 day event - or as soon as you can get back online!

I'm debating selling my 3 month old P700-Z's to get something else maybe the AVS ES100's like you got.
