I need some advice. I have an EJ6 (2000 civic hatch) shell with what I think is the original engine harness, and also a complete 2000 civic si that i'm parting out for the hatch. So my deal is, a few of the wires have been cut (I don't know exactly what they are yet but..). One is by the around where the battery goes. The other two are smaller cables on the other side of the engine bay. Anyhow, I was planning on installing the power doors and windows from the si. My question is basically, should/can I take the harness from the SI? If not, I'd have to figure out which wires are cut and then reconnect the wires after I order them.. I'm going to take all of the interior as well... I searched for this topic and found a very similar thread, but the situation and circumstances are a little different. please help! thanks
I'd go with the SI harness since the engine/ECU/etc is going to match up perfectly to the setup.
The only part that will be slightly difficult will be the rear harness, but that should be fairly straight forward one you start digging into it.
