I installed an s2k hid retrofit into my car..only issue was the ballast are huge..so we relocated them behind my turn signal (DC4)...today one of them turnd off..I checked the seating..its fine..checked the connection to the factory headlight harness, fine ( i used connectors so no splicing..) it happened to be raining today, is it possible the ballast got wet and fried?

what kind of ballasts are they? are they mounted in a way that water could have gotten inside? did you check the bulb to see if it burnt out? if you used fuses/relays, have you checked those as well?

 

fixed already..blue and fried...waters a bytch
they were s2k's ballast too

 

disconnect them and let them sit dry for a couple of days. It should fire up after
