Default Tokico Illuminas with 30000 miles - yes or no ?

I am not too firmiliar with shocks, etc. and this is a new learning experience for me so please bare with me even if this question may sound silly - I found some Tokico Illuminas which the guy claimed he had for almost 5 years and put like 30000 miles on them with a 1.4" lowered car and now he wants to sell them for $100 for all four.

Is this a deal worth gettin or should I just take my time, save up and get new ones? I mean will these go out on me soon or is 30000 miles okay for the Illuminas?

dang, I would think they would be fine with that few miles on them. Although with driving that small amount (only 6K per year) the seals may have hardened up or something.

I dunno, my Konis have 165K miles on them and are still working great. I would expect $400 shocks to last well beyond 30K miles.

still, for $100? no.

just buy them new. theyre less than $400 new.

buying used shocks is like buying used underwear. they could be the silkiest boxers, but come on...

i have a the tokico blue ones and i just finally got 100,000 miles on them. they do let the car sit lower now since 5 months ago, like almost an inch lower, i also have tokico springs, the suspension is just now wearing out and now the fronts are squeaking on a hard downforce, so i est they are all good for 100k miles.

I did not get them because I already have two brand new ones so I decided to just get two more new ones and call it a day instead of mixing old and new shocks.
