tierod balljoint boots
So I destroyed the boot of my tierod balljoint boot..
Couple questions*
1. When do you have to replace the whole balljoint or when can you get by with just a boot and clip
2. If I do have the get a new tierod end with balljoint, from honda, do i have to buy a boot too, or do they come all assembled?
Thanks h-t

here is the deal you have to buy them as a complete set you can't get the rubber boot separate. That being said you can contact energy suspension and get polyurethane replacement boots. I will give you this warning there is no way to seal the boot to the ball joint / tie rod end then will need cleaned and relubed often to keep dirt out. So on a daily driven car I would just replace the tierod/ ball joint to make your life easy
