Default b16a2 question

this might be common question but im going to ask the gurus anyways, so i just bouhgt a 93 eg with b16a2 in it, now iwant to put this motor in my 98 ek sedan, now my question is, which ecu should i used this question got to do with the obd 2 in my ek. any suggestion would be much appreciated.

I would do the Obd2 to Obd1 Conversion on the ECU harness and put a chipped p28 in the car.

Agreed, because you've got an OBDI motor and you're plan is to put it into an ek, you'll need the OBDII to OBDI conversion harness. You should be able to find a chipped p28 ecu for around $150 or so. Why did you decide to swap it from the eg to the ek, if you don't mind me asking?

using the ek4door as a DD and found a nice b18c or k20 for eg?

nope not yet, I have to buy a few more parts for it and it'll be running.. They're small parts like, radiator, hoses and tps. Then I also have to locate my battery this week, it'll be done in the next few weeks though.. My buddy has a slightly built single cam in his EF Si and just outran a Gsr EG over the weekend until his car went into limp mode that is lol.. but I had fun hangin out with everybody in Atl. over the weekend. i'll have to give you the link to see the vid. i'm posting it on Youtube.

nope, it is NA, it has ZC pistons and a port and polish job.. it has the Obd0 to Obd1 conversion and running a chipped p28.

haha nice...ive got a slightly built and i mean slightly built aka head studs head gasket d15b7 and with a 15g that keeps up within half a second with my buddies b18c-R del sol(who now is going boost) haha

lol not yet, I think I might know somebody in Rome here that might have one, just dunno what he'll want for it.. or if he still has it.. but it does have a phantom grip LSD in it.

another things guys i neeed to wired up the to vtec to my ek is this a DIY kinda thing or a has to be a pro.

yes if you do the Obd2 to Obd1 conversion harness you can plug ur p28 up and i'll give you the vtec wiring diagram in just a sec...

I believe the conversion harnesses have the wires for vtec already pinned in, so you would just have to wire them together.. someone correct me if i'm wrong though.
