They made so much squeeking noise and finally gave in. It gotten worse today while driving back home from work and they just have to put a hole on it.

Wouldn't the flange protect it ? Looks like you dropped the car on top of something. So what did cause it......besides the Gremlins?

Well, there used to be a metal hanger that was in place to support the dp but apparently, that fell off today while driving 30mph. First thing I've heard were squeeks and I thought my straight pipe needed an alignment. That didn't solved anything and got worst and start to hear exhaust leak. It then gave out and suddenly my car sounded like it was on open downpipe. Very embarassing!

No flexpipe. I'm actually going to shop me around for a new larger diametered downpipe and a straight tomorrow and hopefully get my car running in time. It's about time because I've been wanting to upgrade and hopefully hit the dyno once again and see how much I've gained with the same boost level.

I didn't hit anything. I'm assuming engine movement caused the metal hanger to gave out and apparently broke loose and fell.

DB8 - who's excited to get a bigger dp.
