2.25 or 2.5 collector header?

2.25 or 2.5 collector header?
at the local shop they have a no name header with a 2.5 collector, I've been looking at the weapon R street header that has a 2.25 collector.
is there going to be a difference, if any between a 2.25 and 2.5" collector? I already got a 60mm invidia test pipe waiting to be put on
