Brake lights won't work..
I just got a traffic citation because my brake lights won't work. I have Acura GS-R 2 dr coupe 1996 Model. The third brake lights and horn seems to be working. The brake light does not work. Can both the brake light go bad..?
But the rear light seems to light up when I switch on the head light. I press the brakes on without the lights switched on I don't see the light working. I looked at the bulb there are dual filament's in them. Is one of the filament used to light up when the brakes are pressed. Visually looking at it, I see both the filaments are not burnt out. Any idea what could be happening.
The running light works.
When I apply brakes, I don't see the rear lights go brighter.
When the running lights are switched off, the brake lights does not work either.
The third brake light (LED) which is on the spoiler works fine. The STOP/HORN fuse seems to be in good shape.
