After startup my car will bounce idle after I've had it around 4000rpm. It will usually eventually stall. Once I restart it (in the intersection) it is fine. It doesn't seem to do it if I keep the rpm real low (below 3500 or so).

I've tried researching this. Idle air control valve (IACV) seems to come up a lot. Where is this? Clean or replace? Pics or write-up?

Sincere thanks to anyone who can help. This seems to be hurting my motor in some way so I'd like to fix it asap.

 

any cel? could be distributor, tps, iacv, air in coolant.
