Pauses Or Stops Firing While Driving
Greetings Honda-Tech Forum:
Got an 89 crx hf 5mt non CA. It's as if I turned the ignition off while at top speed. Sometimes it will resume firing after a second or few, but most of the time not now. I must pull over and restart. I replaced wireset, plugs, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. I adjusted the timing. I had to rotate the dist. all the way towards retard. I probably need to replace my timing belt even if that's not the cause. What's the first thing you'd look at? EGR? dist.? ECM? Thanx ahead.
