Default Sway bar and endlinks

Im looking at getting a sway bar and the endlinks. Is it worth it go get one? Also whch one is the best one. Progressive 22mm, Blox 21mm, Comptech adjustable 17-19mm. The end links that i found are the corsport v2 adjustable.

sway bar is just like a bandaid when used for suspension. your better off saving up for a camber kit and some better tires.

Care to explain the logic in your post. I don't see how a camber kit will substitute for a new sway bar.

Comptech would be a good choice because it's not much larger than the stock 17mm rear sway. But I was looking into the progress 22mm to keep the back end level and planted. For your previous threads concerning a new suspension, I have heard nothing but positive feedback from the HFP/22mm progress combo. So I believe a sway would compliment your future suspension nicely.

I have been told and read that swapping the Si front for a LX/EX unit would be better than replacing the Si stock rear.

Mmmk....so getting a thinner front sway bar or a thicker rear sway bar helps reduce understeer right??

On top of that.....how magnified is the stiffness in terms of getting a thicker rear sway bar. For example if I went from the stock 17mm to 22mm how much stiffer would it be compared to just going from 17mm to 19mm??

I just put the Eibach front and rear sway bars on my car, and love them. It makes a noticable difference in the way the vehicle performs. You may want to lower the vehicle as well to lower the cars center of gravity. Sometimes it can feel as if the car wants to lift the rear wheels up on fast tight turns. For normal driving though, these sway bars have been excellent.

i will definatly keep u guys posted with the set up. I was at the checkotu of getting the sway and endlinks when i thought about exactly what RICO asked. How much stiffer is it going to be with a 22mm opposed to the 19mm? Im still thinking about that even though i think it only stiffens up the body roll and nothing else. And i feel that getting a thinner front sway will make less under steer causing you to feel a lil more oversteer. Same as if you are to get a rear sway, your going to notice less understeer and feel more like an oversteer.

I ordered the rear sway bar from progress and the endlinks v2 from corsport. the new endlinks are sealed so it should help with noise. should have it late next week and the tie bar when i get out of work tomm.

Ok so here is the update: I have installed the P2R rear tie bar, Progress 22mm RSB and the corsport v2 endlinks.

The car handles a lot better. Took for a nice drive last night and it hugs so much better. Worth every penny.

The bad. There is some noise coming from the rear and it seems to sound like sumthing is hitting. Im going to take a look today and see if i can pin point it. Other then that everything feels okay.

BTW: Fitment of everything was great. and for the endlink mount ripping out. I took the same look and idea of the redshift peice and made my own cstom to fit. I work at a scrap yard so getting some 304 s/s was easy.
