I just picked up a 91 si hatch and it has a few minor problems. none of the gauges work accept the temp. and i put a new speedometer cable in but still nothing! checked all the fuses. and all the electrical clips have the toothpaste type build up in them and i cleaned it as good as i could. also i have the 5th gen. si gauge cluster but my dash wiring harness doesnt have the aux clip hook ups for the extra wires and clips that come off those gauges. do i just go get that wired into the dash clips/harness?

I'd get a OEM cluster made for your model of car. That's probably the easiest way to get things working correctly.
