have trouble putting into 3rd and 4th gear? rear mount has no bolt int it...
well i bought an integra ls, 1994, and the car drives great, but has trouble going into gear randomly. the shifter can lift up about an inch and the rear engine mount has no bolt in it...
can getting a new bolt and nut for the rear mount fix the shifting problem?
no grinds, drives great, i just need to figure this out

what do you mean by "the shifter can lift up an inch"
and you def need to get a bolt in that rear mount ASAP

like i can pull the shift **** up. it has no play side to side, but i can pull it up about an inch. and it shifts fine from 1-2nd and 4-5th, but goin into 3rd and 4th is difficult, and reverse is difficult.
can the rear mount not having a bolt and the engine movement cause this?

it sounds like you dont even have a bolt in your your shifter into the shift linkage...
jack the car up, go under there and look a little after the cat above your exahust piping and you should see where the shifter connects to the shift linkage..make sure there is a bolt there

You just have to clear out the area. Possibly remove the left axle and half shaft, or remove the tie bar on the subframe (not sure if LS's had these, my GS-R does).
i got the bolts out using a swivel socket and a couple extensions. motor doesnt move anymore
but i cant figure out why the shifter moves up and down, theres a bolt in it and it just moves up and down. im going to but in a bm shirt shifter with new bushings and see if that helps
