engine swap decision
there are sooooo many posts on this...do a search and read a ton!
however, I would say the b18c5 (ignoring cost of course). weighs less than the h22a, bolts right in, does not sit forward in the engine bay (screwing up the ballance even more than the weight does), and would be (IMO) more fun to drive (I like to rev!
). All will be quick...
FYI...people (reputable) have made a h22a handle well on *mild* courses...so they are not horrible (like everyone claims)....but not optimal either.

b18c5 is the best of course!
b18c1 also kicks ***, easy to add an ITR LSD and be competitive to ITR's.
b18b is the most cost effective if you are on a limited budget. Over time you can add parts and swap to a B16 or ITR tranny.
b series motors will really drop right in. no joke, it will take a few hours.
H22 is a lot more work to install.
