01 R WONT START
Posting for a friend. Bought a theft recovery 01 R and it wont start. Removed the immobilzer and it still wont start. Switched ECU's and it still wont start. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing it could be your distributor . Also check basic thing like spark plug, fuel, etc... If your motor turns and no start up, I'm guessing distributor.

if it was stolen....y would I try to start it dick...what [freak]ing good is it gonna do me to get the car started if its stolen? am I gonna drive it around stolen...no....*******..

see if it has compression, check the timing belt see if its loose or broken too. if the starter turns hella fast it has no compression. it might have somethin to do with the immobilizer being removed

IM GOING TO HAVE HIM CHECK..HE USED BOTH A P72 AND A P73...SAME SHYT...

x2....do a quick compression test and see what you get, then check the timing belt and timing
