my car is completely stock besides header and muffler. i was driving down the road the other day and my car suddenly shut off and would not start back up. when i got it back to the house, i found out that i had no spark. i dont know if i have fuel yet, i will check in to that. but when i opened up the distributor, i seen that the stater or the part that reads the teeth on the distributor what cracked. just the plastic not the whole piece. i know in some cars, that this part control spark and the injectors. i just want to know if the coil or ignition modules are known to go out alot or not.

 

i found out that i have fuel and the stater is controlling the injectors but still no spark. i have power to both sides of coil. i dont know. need some advice.

 

Is it throwing any codes? Have ya checked all fuses?
