Default B18 in a ef newb

im looking to do a b18 swap in my 91 ef im looking to get the engine out of a 97+ integra, this would be my first swap i need some more info and some advice. a list of items i would need for this swap to happen would be great and possible prices too. i can get the engine for $800 max with a tranny from a junk yard im on a limited budget at the moment of around $1100 i know ill probaly not be able to completely do the swap with this much but it could be a good start

Heres what you will need, this may not be all of it though:

- distributor jumper harness
- ecu jumper harness, and ecu frokm that car
- shift linkage
- Maybe different axles, im not sure
- cable to hydrolic trans conversion, or get a b series cable trans
- b series into ef mounts

Im sure that there is more but i cant think of it right now.

just get a b18a from a 90-93 get a obdo ls(easist integra motor to drop into a ef)you need:
pr4 ecu(90-93 integra)
b series mounts/shift linkage
since yours is dpfi you'll need to run wires for mpfi(used your stock harness)
b18a1 motor,tranny starter dizzy etc,,,

goodluck

you only have 2 injectors, versus 4 with mpfi.

as said above dpfi(dual point fuel injection) mpfi(multi point fuel injection) you could run the si intake manifold(mpfi) but you'd have to add a few wires to convert from dpfi to mpfi....

Go there (CRX FAQ's) and look under the "engine swap" section, and do a little reading it will answer all your questions... and you'll probably learn some stuff that will help you that you didn't even think about asking yet. Welcome to H-T
