It's getting cold out...
Who stores their EP3/DC5? How do you do it? What's your winter car (pics)?
Yeah, I know this isn't our cars specific but I'm curious what my fellow ep3/rsx driver's do for the winter.
I just do the basic: wash and wax, vacuum it out, Heet in tank, put the car on stands and cover it. I do the "never start" method (don't ever start it in the winter) and this is my main reason for this thread: which method do you guys do?
My winter car is a stock MR 92 hatch (currently doesn't have engine, gas tank, interior, and quarter panels). The bad weather snuck up on me and I really need to get my *** in gear.

Don't do it! Wisconsin salt/cold ftl!
But if you must one huge, maybe unorthodox, tip I'll give you is to not crank the heat and to let the heat out of your car before you park it. AKA open the windows, moon roof or both a minute or so before you park. One of the main causes of rust is condensation from the difference of inside/outside air temperature. If you can't bare the cold and you park in a garage, crack the moonroof when you park to allow the heat to escape out the top of the car rather than by condensation on unpainted/unprimered inside metal.

I park mine for the winter...I wash it clean it out, and put a car cover on it. I try to start it once a week. But being at school for the semester, if I can make it home I'll start it then. I use to drive the Accord in the winter, this year it'll be the S10 until it sells.
im not storing my DC5 bc im moving to texas, but last year i didnt drive my EM1 and it sat in the driveway covered in snow, all i did was go out and start it up once a week and let the car idle all the way up to normal operating temperature. i never had any problems with that. did the same thing to my SR20 powered S13.
Oregon winters aren't too bad and I didn't drop a ton of money to let it sit half of the year.
Drive all year. Wash it even during the winter to keep the paint clean (it's fun when the neighbors see you washing your car at 10 PM while there are icicles coming off the room, HAHA).

This is the first time I will drive one of my cars in the winter... usually I would store my car (my old Type-R EG) in the winter and I would drive my mom's car in the winter... she barely does 5 km a week....but she is gone now (Freaken thieves
) and now that I have the EP3 and there is nothing done to her I will drive her this winter...
