Default quick iacv ?

ok when i unplug the iacv i don't have a big drop in idle. it may drop 10 rpm to be honest it does cut and i can hear the intake kick when i plug it back up anyone know why this is. I cleaned it about two weeks ago. and i've had a small fluctuating idle prob like 500 rpm at one stop 8 or 900 the next. and the idle screw has very little effect to it.

i did a vacuum test and the gauge read about 17.5 straight.

try removing the FIAV its on the bottom of the Intake 3 10mm bolts .. once you take it off you can take it apart there is a FAT white screw type plug in there take it out and put it back in but don't over tighten it .. just snug

what he means to say is take a look at your FITV (Fast Idle Thermal Valve)

that is correct. are you sure the iacv seal is in good condition. i had a fluctuating idle that would not go away after swapping intake mani's and it turns out the iacv seal which looked decent was actually leaking like crazy. replaced it and it fixed the problem. it could also be a vaccum leak though

well i appreciate that i'll check it tomorrow. i think i'm gonna also replace all the vacuum lines just to be sure, if not i'm suspecting a leak under the im, i had problems with that bottom bolt.
