08 si guage installation...
im installing an autometer a/f meter on my 08 si sedan. ive came across the question they are more accurate with a wideband o2 sensor. do our civics being so new have wideband o2 sensors?
i have already searched and nothing.. tHANKS

place it pre-cat above the middle line of the pipe...basically so that it is parellel to the ground.
i think the new civics have a wideband but just have a new hole made.

even if the civic was equiped with a wideband sensor the meter would have to be clalibrated to give give correct readings from the sensor.
i dont know if the newer civics have wideband sensors or not but i doubt it. honda uses narrow band sensors for better fuel efficiency.

that autometer a/f gauge won't tell you ****. don't waste your money. if you actually need to know your a/f ratio get a wideband o2 sensor and the proper gauge to go with it.
