Default Big Brake Kit

If I upgrade my brake and rotors to one of those big brake kits what size wheel do I have to ugrade to a 16 or 17. I wanted to put 225 40 16 but if I have to go with 17 I will do that. Is there any honda or ther acura that I could possibly swap out that have like 2 piston or 4 piston brake system that will fit on my 1992 Acura integra ls 4 door

wilwood has a direct bolt on for your application. it requires a 16" wheel minimum. 4 piston calipers and 2pc rotors that are 12" if i remember right. best price i found was $550 for the kit. probably the best bang for your buck if you want an all out road course brake setup.

i have a question as well,

would upgrading to a big brake kit be a short cut to a 5-lug conversion? or would i still need to get the oem 5-lug and then replace the rotors etc etc?

if you buy one that is specific to your vehicle it will keep the same lug pattern that you have now. no real reason to change to 5lug unless you want to run itr wheels

those 5 lug conversions are expensive. as stated above the wilwood kit is a straight bolt on to your existing pattern. after looking at the prices of the jdm recaros, 5 lugs, itr motor and trans etc...i think someone is better off importing the entire car for the $7,000-8,000 it would cost for a 90,000km '96 for example.

that's very true,

but just as for the brake kit, i'm looking into k-sport, since there's a member on here that can offer k-sport products at discounted prices for H-T members.
