Who takes blown/ruined engines?

I'm in the Tacoma area, does anyone know where I should take my old d16z6 bottom end (shot a rod) and its basically useless...

Anyone recycle them? Or do I just take it to the dump?

i would like to know too. i got 3 shot short/long blocks i need to get rid of, swapped them out for friends/relatives and i have no use for them.

Scrap them, or go look for a bunch of guys in an old beat up truck with a bunch of random metal in the back. That would be like gold to them

We have a couple guys come by our shop looking for scrap a couple times a week. Im sure you could even find someone in the phone book that would come pick them up from you too.
